Vanconol TOH high quality amine corrosion inhibitor for acid system
Black coating is a type of Surface Treatment used to provide a durable, aesthetic and protective finish to metal parts. It is applied to a range of substrates, including steel, aluminum, and titanium, through various processes such as painting, chemical baths or physical deposition.
Black coating provides an attractive, matte finish that reduces glare and reflections. It is commonly used in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and firearms, where aesthetics and durability are essential. The black coating can also be used for functional purposes, such as to reduce friction and wear.
One of the most common types of black coating is black oxide. Black oxide is created through a controlled chemical reaction that forms a layer of black iron oxide on the surface of the metal. This process enhances the corrosion resistance of the substrate and provides a uniform and attractive black finish. Black oxide is also used to provide a matte black finish to gun parts, as well as to increase the conductivity of electrical components.
Another type of black coating is powder coating, which involves applying a dry powder to the surface of the substrate and baking it in an oven. This process creates a durable, weather-resistant finish that is resistant to damage from UV rays and other environmental factors. Powder coating is widely used in the automotive and manufacturing industries, where it provides a long-lasting, high-gloss black finish.
Finally, black coating can also be achieved through physical vapor deposition (PVD). This involves depositing a thin layer of black material onto the substrate through a vacuum chamber. PVD black coatings are very durable, and are often used in high-precision applications such as medical instruments and aerospace components.
In conclusion, black coating is a versatile and effective way to provide a durable, aesthetic, and protective finish to metal parts. Its visual appeal, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance make it a popular choice in a variety of industries and applications. Whether applied through chemical baths or physical vapor deposition, black coating plays an important role in enhancing the performance and longevity of metal parts.

 Product Description
Vanconol® amine TOH neutralized as salt, can be stable in acidic conditions, reducing the surface tension of acidic aqueous solution, resulting in pickling solution with good wettability. Neutralized salt provides cationic and dispersing properties, which can be used to modify the surface of powder material and change the surface of powder to hydrophilic or hydrophobic surface through surface adsorption.

Applications
In high-quality asphalt products (such as airport runways, highways and other engineering asphalt), adding Vanconol® amine TOH can enhance asphalt adhesion with sand, gravel and ash, which can be dissolved in asphalt or sprayed on the aggregate surface. Such treated bitumen shows excellent adhesion to wet surfaces (metal, concrete surfaces) and such bitumen surfaces can also provide properties of resisting flood, acid rain and corrosion.
Rubber ProcessingÂ
Amines have found several applications in rubber processing for which the Vanconol® amine TOH and their salts may be suited. Derivatives have been made for use as retarders for fast curing butyl rubbers to reduce scorching, as curing accelerators in other rubbers, in acid emulsion polymerization, and as softening and plasticizing agents.Â
Antistatic AgentsÂ
The neutralized salt or quaternized product of Vanconol® amine TOH are widely used as antistatic agent.Â
These imidazoline derivatives will form a layer of continuous conducting film on the surface of fiber andÂ
plastic which timely derives static fricative in the producing process of fiber or plastic.Â
FlotationÂ
Vanconol® amine TOH is suggested for use in removing traces of silica from gypsum intended for use in glass ceramics, and for removing silica from low grade iron ores. The hydrochloride of Vanconol® amine TOH has been successfully for separating silica and iron oxide from barite.Â
PaintsÂ
Use of Vanconol® amine TOH into paint is known to improve adhesion of paint even to wet surfaces, meanwhile, improving water proof of paint.
In the prodution of water-based paints, Vanconol® amine TOH often shows good dispersion stability due to its strong adsorption on the pigment surface and the ability to form mutually exclusive micelles. Based on this characteristic, Vanconol® amine TOH is used as a dispersant for aqueous industrial coatings, pastes and inks.Â
