In a practical application, this system was implemented on a hot ceramic company’s pressure processing line using a JB53-630 model screw press with a nominal force of 6300 kN. It was used to monitor the thickness of 70 mm magnesium bricks. The results demonstrated that the system achieved a thickness measurement accuracy of ±0.5 mm, fully meeting the demands of the production process. Moreover, the system includes an oversized alarm function, further enhancing its reliability and safety in operation.
