Standard: GB/T 1299-1985
●Hardness: 44~48
●Application: It is suitable for the manufacture of medium-cut hammer forging die with side length ≤400mm.

The steel is hot work die steel. In addition to hardenability and poor thermal fatigue resistance, 5CrMnMo steel has similar properties to 5CrNiMo steel, and the hardenability is slightly poor. This steel is suitable for high strength and high production. Various types of forging die for wear resistance. When high toughness is required, electroslag remelted steel can be used.

Mechanical properties Hardness: Annealed, 241 ~ 197HB, indentation diameter 3.9 ~ 4.3mm

Heat treatment heat treatment specification: quenching, oil cooling at 820 ~ 850 °C.
