The industry began to shift spontaneously to places such as Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, and Shandong, where China’s economy continues to grow rapidly. At the same time, the governments of these regions began to realize that the development of characteristic industries has become an engine to promote local economic growth, and it has optimized the structure of employment and employment, and is conducive to the sound development of the regional economy. Industry associations and local governments have made great efforts to create a favorable situation for characteristic industrial bases.

So far, the association and local governments have built 34 unique industrial bases. According to the naming category of the "Administrative Measures for the Name Designation of China's Hardware Industries with Special Characteristics" formulated by the Association, there are 9 existing Chinese hardware products, namely, China Gas Appliance Capital (Shunde) and China Kitchenware Capital (Cangzhou), China Lock Capital (Wenzhou), China Valve Capital (Yuhuan), China's Zipper Capital (Jinjiang), China Lighter Capital (Ningbo), China Elbow Pipe Fittings Capital (Mengcun), China Daily Hardware Capital (Dan Kitchen), China's button capital (Qiaotou); there are 20 China Hardware Industry Base, namely: China Hardware Base City (Jieyang), China Hardware Products Industry Base (Xiaolan), China Faucet Production Base (Shuikou), China Stainless Steel Product Production Base (Xinhui), China Metal Shell Lighter Production Base (Wenzhou), China Lighter Production Base (Xiayu), China Razor Blade Production Base (Wenzhou), China Hardware Products Production Base (Yuyao), China Faucet Production Base (Yuhuan), China Rail Industry Base (Leliu), China Hinge Industry Base (Leliu), China Tool Industry Base Jinhua), China Kitchen & Bath Accessories Industry Base (Fenghua Jiangkou), China Shower Room Industry Manufacturing Base (Zhongshan), China Construction Hardware Industry Base (Suichang), China Wire Mesh Industry Base (Anping), China Bathroom Accessories Base (Xiaoshan Party) Mountain), China zipper production base (Shantou), China zipper industry base (Yiwu), China Hardware Industry and Trade City (Linyi Hedong); There are five Chinese townships (towns), namely: China Shower home (Xiaoshan Nanyang), the hometown of China's stainless steel products (Caitang), China's zipper township (Qiaotou), China Hardware Township (Yongkang), China Hardware Town (Daxin Town).

There are 28 industrial bases in 34 provinces in Guangdong and Zhejiang, accounting for 85% of the total number of bases. Among them, there are 17 in Zhejiang Province; 11 in Guangdong Province; 2 in Hebei Province; and one each in Shandong, Henan, Jiangsu, and Fujian. According to the product category, there are 7 general categories, 7 architectural hardware, 6 stainless steel products and kitchen appliances, 5 daily-use hardware, 4 zippers, 2 shower rooms, 1 tool, gas appliance, and 1 lock.

According to the development model, it can be divided into traditional industrial agglomeration types: With the development of the market economy, the hardware industry in some regions has achieved early retirement in the country, and a large number of private enterprises use their technological advantages and sales channels in the local area. Formed industrial clusters and soon became a pillar industry in the region. Local governments assess the situation, seize the opportunity, formulate practical and feasible policies and measures, vigorously promote the industrialization process, and gradually improve the industrial chain.

Daxin Town in Zhangjiagang City is an industrial satellite town that started earlier in the rural areas in southern Jiangsu. It started with hardware and relied on five blondes and has a history of more than 70 years. It is the first hardware town awarded by the Association. The industry has a history of 500 years. It can be traced back to the first year of Hongzhi, namely, 1488 AD. It has a long history and a long history. This base also has Yongkang hardware, nozzle and so on.

The first post-commercial and post-work type: Qiaotou Town, Yongjia County, Wenzhou City, in the early 1980s, dared to create the first small commodity market in China—Qiaotou Button Market.

After years of development, it has now formed a series of economically complete industrial clusters with buttons and zippers as the leader. Similarly, Xinhui stainless steel products industry is also developing a stainless steel product manufacturing base based on the trade of stainless steel raw materials. Such bases include Yiwu Zipper, Jieyang Hardware, and Hedong District Hardware and Trade City.
