Su Bo stressed that in this process, there are eight key tasks. The first is to establish and improve the industrial technology innovation system. The second is to actively construct a new mechanism for the deep integration of the two. The third is to strengthen the manufacturing base. The fourth is to promote the construction of quality brands. The fifth is to promote green manufacturing. The sixth is to cultivate a globally competitive business community. The seventh is to accelerate the development of modern manufacturing services. Eighth is to promote the "going out" of Chinese equipment.
He pointed out that we must strive to achieve major breakthroughs in key areas such as high-end CNC machine tools, power equipment, industrial robots and intelligent equipment, aviation equipment, marine and offshore engineering equipment, advanced rail transit equipment, energy conservation and new energy vehicles.
