Second, it establishes stricter oversight and penalties, with harsher punishments for illegal activities and increased accountability for officials. Third, it enhances risk monitoring, assessment, and food safety standards, adding mechanisms like risk-based management and liability interviews. Finally, it introduces reward systems for reporting violations and liability insurance, encouraging broader participation from consumers, media, and industry groups in ensuring food safety.
These updates aim to create a more comprehensive and effective legal framework. By increasing penalties, clarifying responsibilities, and promoting social collaboration, the law seeks to prevent future crises and restore public trust. It's time for all stakeholders—producers, sellers, and regulators—to take their roles seriously and work together to ensure food safety at every stage.
