On April 26, the HSE dynamic monitoring information management system of Sinopec Huabei Petroleum Engineering Co., Ltd.'s logging company was officially launched within the HB019 team. This successful trial marked a significant step toward achieving standardized, procedural, and software-based HSE management across the company.
The system is built around a dedicated tablet equipped with the "Base Layer HSE Dynamic Monitoring Information Management System" software, along with a central database located at the engineering company's headquarters. It integrates all aspects of daily HSE operations, including on-site inspections, data recording, task management, safety culture promotion, risk assessment, and corrective actions. The frontline teams can upload real-time updates about their work processes directly into the system, which automatically transmits the data to the headquarters database via wireless network coverage.
Recently, the HB019 team tested the system during the cementing quality logging process at J94 well, and the results were highly promising. The system not only improved data accuracy but also enhanced communication between field operations and the central office. This pilot implementation has set a solid foundation for future expansion across other teams, reinforcing the company’s commitment to digital transformation and safer working practices.
