The second seminar of “Hegong Large Belt Abrasive Testing Machine Program†was held

On November 9th in the afternoon, the second seminar of the "Coated Abrasives Belt Grinding Test Machine Program," organized by the Coated Abrasives Branch, took place at the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Henan University of Technology. Attending the event were Wang Mingyuan, Secretary-General of the Coated Abrasives Branch, Professor Zou Wenjun, Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Henan University of Technology, along with Zhang Changwu and Dai Hongjun, members of the Coated Abrasives Expert Committee, and other industry representatives.
Professor Cui Wei from Henan University of Technology presented an in-depth overview of the belt grinding test machine concept. The participating experts listened attentively and provided valuable feedback, suggesting innovative ideas to enhance the project. Wang Mingyuan, Secretary-General of the Coated Abrasives Branch, expressed his gratitude to the team at Henan University of Technology for their efforts in advancing the belt grinding test machine initiative. He highlighted that through the collaborative efforts of numerous experts, the prototype had evolved significantly from its initial version. He expressed confidence that with continued teamwork, the final product would be a highly efficient, reliable, and precise piece of equipment. The delegates praised the rapid progress achieved in just 20 days, incorporating everyone's feedback to expedite the project’s completion.
Dean Zou Wenjun of Henan University of Technology expressed appreciation for the constructive input from the experts. He emphasized that they would carefully review all the suggestions and make necessary adjustments to ensure the project moves forward smoothly. Following the discussion, Dean Zou invited Wang Mingyuan and the experts to tour several specialized laboratories within the School of Materials Engineering, including the Superhard Materials Performance Testing Lab, PCVD Lab, Hardness Testing Lab, and Abrasive Performance Testing Lab. These visits aimed to showcase the university's research capabilities and facilities dedicated to materials science.
This seminar not only marked significant progress in the belt grinding test machine project but also strengthened collaboration between academic institutions and industry leaders, paving the way for future advancements in the field of coated abrasives.
