1. Inappropriate starting method causes serious damage to the machine in winter. Some drivers are able to start the diesel engine quickly, often using an abnormal starting method that starts without water (first start, then add cooling water). This practice can cause serious damage to the machine and should be banned. The correct preheating method is: firstly cover the heat preservation hood on the water tank, open the drain valve, continuously inject 60-70 °C clean soft water into the water tank, and touch the water flowing out of the drain valve to feel the hot feeling, then close the drain valve. Fill the water tank with clean soft water at 90-100 ° C and shake the crankshaft so that the moving parts are properly pre-lubricated before starting.
2. The machine is seriously worn due to low temperature load operation. After the diesel engine starts to catch fire, some drivers can't wait to immediately put into the load operation. Diesel engines that are on fire for a long time, because of the low temperature of the body, the viscosity of the oil is large, and the oil is not easily charged into the friction surface of the moving pair, which may cause serious wear of the machine. In addition, the plunger spring, the valve spring and the injector spring are also susceptible to breakage due to "cold brittleness".
3. Use fuel to reduce engine life, increase the probability of damage. The low temperature in winter makes the fluidity of diesel worse, the viscosity increases, it is not easy to spray, resulting in poor atomization and incomplete combustion, resulting in the decline of diesel engine's power and economic performance. . Therefore, light diesel with low freezing point and good firing performance should be used in winter. Generally, the freezing point of the diesel engine should be lower than the local minimum temperature of 7-10 °C.
4. Bake the oil pan with an open flame to burn the machine, but the machine wear will be aggravated to prevent the oil in the oil pan from deteriorating or even burning, and the lubrication performance is reduced or completely lost, thus aggravating the wear of the machine. In the winter, the oil with low freezing point should be used. When starting, the temperature of the oil can be increased by using the external water bath heating method.
5. Do not pay attention to the body insulation to reduce the working life, damage the engine temperature in winter, and it is easy to make the diesel engine overcool when working. Therefore, insulation is the key to using diesel engines in winter. In the northern region, diesel engines used in winter should be equipped with insulation devices such as insulation jackets and insulation curtains.
