Recently, Wang Laifu, the General Manager of Henan Huifeng Diamond Co., Ltd., led a team of researchers from the company to attend the city's science and technology innovation conference organized by the Shangqiu Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government. The event was attended by key local leaders, including Tao Minglun, the Secretary of the Shangqiu Municipal Party Committee, who delivered a keynote speech, and Yu Xueyou, the Deputy Secretary of the municipal party committee and Mayor of Shangqiu, who presided over the meeting. Other attendees included high-ranking officials such as Zhou Shuqun, Wu Hongwei, Jia Ruiqin, Ma Gang, and Yang Jimin.
The main purpose of the conference was to recognize outstanding enterprises that have made significant contributions to scientific and technological innovation in Shangqiu in recent years. Among the honored companies, Henan Huifeng Diamond Co., Ltd. was awarded 200,000 yuan from the Shangqiu Science and Technology Innovation Fund. During the ceremony, Secretary Tao Minglun and Mayor Yu Xueyou personally presented the company with an honorary certificate and the corresponding reward funds, highlighting the importance of innovation in driving economic growth.
As a leader in the diamond industry, Huifeng Diamond has always emphasized the critical role of technological innovation in its development strategy. The company has established a collaborative "industry-academia-research" partnership with Henan University of Technology and set up the "Micro-Nano Diamond Powder Materials Academician Workstation" together with Academician Zou Guangtian from Jilin University's Hard Materials Industry. This initiative has enabled the company to continuously attract and cultivate skilled technical professionals.
In terms of infrastructure, Huifeng is equipped with dozens of state-of-the-art R&D and testing instruments, including Malvern, Kurt, and ICP systems, along with over 150 automated production units. The company also operates a fully equipped research building spanning 5,000 square meters. These facilities have supported the establishment of two key research centers: the "Henan Province Submicron Superhard Material Powder Engineering Technology Research Center" and the "Diamond Micro-Nano Powder Henan Engineering Laboratory."
