Due to the success of the turnkey leanEX series in PO pipe extrusion and the large demand for PVC pipe in the Chinese market, Battenfeld Cincinnati (China) has now expanded its offer for this segment.

Before the start of the equipment demonstration, the advantages of the new leanEX 2-93R-28-CLextruder extruder were introduced.

The equipment demonstration will extrude uPVC pipe on site, with a diameter of 250mm and a wall thickness of 7.7mm.

The leanEX 2-93R-28-CL has a length to diameter ratio (L/D) of 28 and has a very rugged design. With a production range of 200-580 kg/h, it is suitable for high throughput range and high performance pipe extrusion. Thanks to a fully insulated barrel equipped with apc (air cooling), maintenance-free, equipped with a compact AC motor and a proven torque motor from Europe, a 4-axis gearbox for high efficiency and energy savings Cost of production.

As standard, the extruder is equipped with a nitriding screw made in Europe and made in China. The Intracool closed temperature control system for the screw is energy efficient and maintenance free. A molybdenum-plated screw made in Europe is also available, which has a longer service life.

The new leanEX 2-93R-28-CL twin-screw extruder has a production range of 200-580 kg/h.

The leanEX 2-93R-28-CL features an intuitive, easy-to-operate “BC compact” control system. The 12” touch screen features the latest design and can be integrated into the MES/ERP system.
